[SOLD OUT] The Tokyo Marathon is an annual marathon sporting event in Tokyo, the capital of Japan. It is one of the six World Marathon Majors and the only WMM race takes place in Asia continent. Cerita Lari is very proud to be appointed as International Travel Partner since 2018 and be able to bring Indonesian runners to this spectacular marathon. It will be held on Sunday, 3rd March 2024.

TOKYO MARATHON 2024 is the biggest race in Asia set for 37,500 marathoners from around the world. It is one of the Abbot Marathon Majors, and the only WMM race takes place in Asia continent.

The race starts at Tokyo Marathon Government Building and finish at the Tokyo Station, passing by some Tokyo iconic building and area, such as Tokyo tower, Senso-ji in Asakusa, Ginza area, and finish next to the Imperial Palace.

There will be millions of spectators to cheer runners throughout the whole marathon route. Be prepared to enjoy the hospitality of Japan.

Shinagawa Prince Hotel is an entertainment hotel located in the city, about two minutes’ walk from Shinagawa Station – convenient location for you to travel around Tokyo. Here, you will find a full complement of entertainment facilities, such as Dining & Bar Table 9 Tokyo, a venue approx. 140 meters above ground with a floor space of approximately 2,000 m², as well as a diverse range of other restaurants, an aquarium, a movie theater, and a bowling center.

Itinerary

  • Friday, 1 March

    [08:00] For those who has arrived in Tokyo a day before, we can have morning shake out run at Tokyo Station area. Let’s meet up there.

    [10:00] Race pack collection part-1. We will go together by using train. Don’t forget to bring your passport. After race pack collection, you can go shopping to Shinjuku or Ginza. Enjoy the city!

    [14:00] Check in time. For those who has arrived in the hotel before this hour, you can drop your luggage in the hotel.

    [15:00] Race pack collection part-2. Let’s aim to finish all race pack collection for all the runners in the Cerita Lari group.

  • Saturday, 2 March

    [06:00] Get your breakfast in the hotel.

    [10:00] Runner who is not able to go to race expo yet, today is your last chance to collect your race package. Alternatively, you can go shopping and enjoy the city.

    [17:00] Don’t forget for carbo loading. There are many nice restaurant around the hotel in Shinagawa area

    [20:00] Prepare your gear for tomorrow run. Get an early sleep

  • Sunday, 3 March

    [05:30] Early breakfast at hotel. Last minute time to check your marathon equipment. Don’t forget to use official bag if you want to drop your baggage as start area

    [07:00] We will leave the hotel by using bus. Don’t be late

    [09:00 – 16:00] Enjoy your marathon. Finish strong! After finish, you can find your official bus to get back to hotel.

    [19:00] Enjoy dinner! Get rest, speedy recovery!

  • Monday, 4 March

    [06:00] Morning breakfast

    [12:00] Check out time. There’s fast check out counter in the receptionist area where you can just drop your key for check out. See you in the next race.

There will be bus transportation provided for all Cerita Lari runners and companions from hotel to start area in the morning and from finish area to hotel in the afternoon. This land arrangement is managed by KNT Japan. You will receive sticker as your bus ticket. Please check to Cerita Lari about the bus schedule.

Yes, we will arrange to collect race pack at marathon expo together in group. We will also arrange group shake out run - Thursday and/or Friday morning - for the group. This is your chance to check with weather, testing your outfit, and enjoy the vibes of finish area. Please check itinerary for the schedule.

Yes you can request for additional night, before and/or after the package period. Please check to Cerita Lari for the price and availability.

Yes we can help you to apply the visa. Please contact Cerita Lari about the service and what document you need to prepare for visa application. Please be note that the approval / rejection of visa application is full rights of the Embassy. What Cerita Lari can help is to ensure that you submit all the documents correctly so the chance your application to be approved will be high.

No you cannot. Cerita Lari's contract with the race is only applied for the current year, meaning that the entries we have for this year cannot be used for the next year.
